About us

Having spent  44 years  organising hundreds of outdoor Classic Car and Transport events throughout the Country Geoff and Linda Price of Transtar Promotions finally retired from this aspect of their business in September 2015.  Our shows were located at some of the most prestigious venues in the Midlands and we learnt from experience about the best and simplest ways to take care of your day's out entertainment. We were always on hand to make sure the shows ran smoothly and professionally and we were only  satisfied when we knew that our exhibitors and visitors had had an enjoyable experience at our shows.    We thank all exhibitors, traders and visitors for their support over the years.

Our Walsall Wood Toy and Train Collectors Fairs which takes place at the Oak Park Active Living Centre remains under the Transtar Promotions banner are again now back up and running for our 2024 Programme. Details of dates  are to be found on the Toy Fair site front page and we look forward to meeting collectors both old and new at the events again now.

Geoff and Linda have refurbished all their model rooms during 2021 and are spending more time with their Guinness World Record Model Bus Collection.  We hope during our future years  to be able to attend a number of events when able to do so.  You are always welcome to come up and have a chat if you see us around on these occasions.
