Following a gap of over three years due to the COVID Pandemic and then the political troubles in Sri Lanka we finally travelled back to this beautiful country for our 18th Annual two week holiday in September 2023.  Since our very first visit back in 2003 when we purchased just 97 different plastic buses we had returned each year to the Royal Palms Beach Hotel in Kalutara and the total buses purchased over the years has now reached 984 different models.  On every occasion  of our visits we have had a media day at the hotel when journalists and TV Channels have attended to showcase our achievements.    This year was extra special with the shopkeepers/market traders and many locals we had previously met giving us a warm welcome back and help with searching for new model buses for our collection.   

The Welcome from the Hotel upon our arrival was amazing with Hotel Management welcoming us once again and Dancers who performed a perfect display of their cultural talents.  On Geoff's Birthday on the 6th October he was once again surprised with an in promptu party and birthday cake in the shape of a Coach.
